Jeffrey Tobias

Dr. Tobias is Executive Vice President, Research and Development and Chief Medical Officer of Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a publically traded specialty pharmaceutical company. He has over 20 years experience in U.S. and international drug development and has served as Executive Vice President, Research and Development and Chief Medical Officer at NeurogesX, Inc., Managing Director of the Aquila Consulting Group, LLC, Director, New Product Discovery at Alza Corporation, and Director of Clinical Development at Chiron Corporation and at Xoma Corporation. He has received board-certification in both Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine and completed training in Critical Care Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
