Gathered, wrote, edited and reported on air news, sports, features and events across an approximately 13-county region on radio stations B98.3, Y106.5 and ESPN 92.3. Recorded and reported live “from the field” on various breaking subjects. Produced, directed and hosted the award-winning radio show “Max Potential,” a life-style program focusing on diet, exercise, community organizations and events. Helped to develop the award-winning radio campaign, “Community ABCs,” by partnering with several area school districts. Arranged on-air guests to promote a wide variety of events and activities. Maintained a daily blog of news and information and a Facebook page for “Max Potential.”

Wrote stories and took digital photographs for a variety of news, sporting and community events in upper Northumberland and Union counties published in the daily newspaper. Created the series “Done Weighting”, featuring articles aimed to encourage readers to live healthier lives. Also, wrote stories and took photos for various inserts and publications throughout the course of the year. Served as Assistant Editor in absence of Managing Editor.

Consulted with Fitness Center members and the public about their fitness aspirations. Developed strength-training and cardiovascular programs and tracked clients’ progress. Taught a group fitness class comprised of circuit training. Other duties included: conversing with members, providing Fitness Center orientations, answering questions in person and over the phone, maintaining a cleanly environment and accepting payments. Currently certified in CPR.

I develop and lead programs designed to help get our area students career ready and guide them through this critical part of their lives. I find out what they are looking for in a career and also what area employers are seeking. I teach the importance of skill development and leadership in creative ways, engaging Chamber and community members. I also spearhead multiple fundraisers to help support our various programs. In addition, along with the rest of the staff, I support our Chamber membership any way possible.

* An expanded role of my existing duties from being the Business & Education Coordinator. Responsible for the oversight and implementation of all communication and education activities for the Chamber and its related organizations, including: Milton Area Industrial Development Association * Milton Area Development Foundation * Milton Area Development Corporation * Milton Medical Care and Community Betterment Foundation * and the Central PA Business & Education Association.
