As Technology Chairman at LexisNexis, I guide the company in anticipating how emerging technologies will reshape the industries we serve, ensuring we deliver greater value to customers while accelerating business growth. My focus is on harnessing Generative AI and other transformative technologies to redefine the legal industry, as well as leveraging them internally to speed product innovation, strengthen decision-making, and drive organizational efficiency. This role centers on translating technological disruption into competitive advantage—helping LexisNexis stay ahead of change and shape the future of legal and business intelligence.

Responsible for Global Technology for LexisNexis Legal & Professional Division of RELX. This includes leading digital transformation, product development, content systems development, business systems, architecture, program office, infrastructure and operations. Major focus includes driving innovation in integrated workflow and analytics solutions utilizing Generative AI (OpenAI and Anthropic), Machine Learning, NLP integrated in a multi-cloud environment (AWS and MS Azure).

Lead development of next generation technology platform for LexisNexis. This includes all software development activities for content, product platform, applications including mobile and enterprise architecture.

Held various roles including: - CIO Thomson Micromedex - responsible for all technology for Micromedex healthcare division. Re-engineered all content systems and product platforms. - CIO Thomson Healthcare - responsible for all technology for Thomson Healthcare. Re-engineered content systems and product platforms. - EVP, Clinical Solutions (GM role) - P&L responsibility for Micromedex and Physician's desk reference business units serving the pharmaceutical and hospital markets. $200M+ revenue. - EVP, Thomson Micromedex (GM role) - P&L responsibility for $100M+ revenue serving the hospital and pharmacy markets. Major products include drug information, disease information, order sets, toxicology information and after care instructions delivered through mobile applications, web sites, and integrated into CPOE, EMR and pharmacy systems.

Lead all Product and Systems development for UMI/ProQuest. Re-engineered existing CD-ROM systems to deliver content online through the Internet.

Managed teams of software developers working on satellite communication systems. This included network management systems and real-time embedded systems.
