After deciding it was time to return to the plaintiff side of civil litigation, I was fortunate to find the perfect opportunity with Hartman-Imbriale, LLP. At this firm, I have been given the opportunity to control my own caseload with both pre-suit cases and litigation. I am proud to work with Jim Imbriale who has provided the support and resources needed to try cases, big and small, and my top notch legal assistant keeps me from getting bogged down in the minutia. Our philosophy is that we will file lawsuits when justice cannot be achieved without legal action. I have the pleasure of representing people who desperately need an advocate to fight for them, and, it allows me to pursue my love of trial work. We have enjoyed many incredible results at the firm and I am pleased that my most common source of referrals are my former clients who appreciate our hard work and dedication.

As a trial lawyer at Progressive, I was responsible for maintaining my own caseload and handling cases from beginning to end. Although I was reliant on the adjusters with the company to obtain authority for negotiating settlements, I was given broad discretion to try cases that need to be decided by a jury. After 4 years, I was elevated to manager where I continued to maintain my own files but was also able to hire, train and supervise an incredible office made up of 8 lawyers and 10 staff members.

I started my legal career at Weinstock and Scavo, P.C. in 1996 and gained valuable insight about general civil litigation and trial work. I was exposed to cases of varying levels of complexity and had the pleasure of working with some great folks, many of whom I remain close with, even after 15+ years. I was given the opportunity to second chair trials with a seasoned and accomplished mentor who provided valuable lessons that applied both inside and outside of the courtroom. This was a great first step for a new associate looking to develop into a civil trial lawyer and I am grateful for the experience.

I've spent several years working for the insurance companies, fighting injury claims as I learned about the psychology involved in how they evaluate cases. Then, I spent several years working for a firm, learning the intricacies of representing clients who had suffered injuries. Now, I have chosen to apply these lessons in a creative and innovative approach as I develop my own practice, focusing on handling cases from beginning to end. Whether that means a simple letter demand or taking the case all the way to trial, my goal is to do everything in my power to get my clients the fair and just recovery they deserve. My focus is on building relationships and learning about the people I represent. I believe in team work and hustle. My clients will never feel like they are merely a claim number, or, just a name on a settlement check. Although I know there is still much to learn, I love what I do. That's me, it's that simple.
