Jeff Loehrke is an incredibly versatile and active drummer with nearly 20 years of experience. Growing up in Chicago, Jeff was exposed to a wide variety of music at a young age. He has been featured on albums with artists such as Guitarist/Composer Tyler Ross, Singer/Songwriter Aly Jados (American Idol, The Voice), New York-Based Bassist Ben Willis, and his jazz trio TriOdelay. Jeff has also performed with artists such as Bob Mintzer (Yellow Jackets), Roger Ingram (Harry Connick Jr.), and Dave Hoffman (Ray Charles). Jeff is known for his ability to fit into a wide variety of genres, and serve the musical styles while expressing his own unique voice from behind the drums. Jeff currently holds a Bachelors Degree in Music Business from Western Illinois University, and is a private Drum-Set Instructor in Chicago.

After I graduated from Western Illinois University I was required to do complete a 3 month internship, I chose to do it at Chicago Recording Company. After 3 months of interning I stayed at CRC and continues to work and learn from engineers like Chris Shepard, Chris Steinmentz, Davey Reilly, Dennis Tousana, Mat Lejeune and Rich Breene. As an assistant engineer I did some tracking and editing in ProTools 8 HD. I also set up sessions which involved patching in Mics, set-up and placement of mics and creating a new session for the engineer before he or she arrived. Part of being an assistant also involved taking care of clients whether it was getting them food, giving my musical opinion when appropriate and also acting as a concierge for visiting artists.
