In my new role as the Group HR Business Partner – Learning & Development, Shared Services & Mature Markets, I’m driving the Learning & Development strategy across 12 countries in Africa, with a focus on building a future-fit, agile, and high-performing teams. This role is pivotal in identifying capability gaps, designing impactful learning experiences, and fostering a continuous learning culture that aligns with Smart’s corporate objectives. I work closely with business leaders to align learning initiatives with strategic goals, support leadership development, and ensure teams have the skills, tools, and mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. In addition, I’m supporting the evolution of HR Shared Services, focusing on streamlining people operations, enhancing employee experience, and enabling efficient, scalable HR delivery across the group.
