Guides political subdivisions across Ohio in developing foundational cybersecurity programs designed to reduce breach risk and support compliance with Ohio House Bill 96. Maintains knowledge of relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems. Provides technical support to Risk Control and underwriting providing guidance on available resources, legislation and applicable regulations, technology, industry trends and effective methods to reduce risk and improve customer satisfaction. Collaborates with team members and/or management in developing IT related risk control policies, procedures, resources, and statistics, and with the Pool in developing articles and newsletters.

Served as a liaison between our SOC, cybersecurity, and our sales teams by utilizing Microsoft Power BI to identify and analyze strengths, gaps, and key performance indicators in the service our SOC provides to clients. Utilized cybersecurity compliance platform, Apptega, to conduct risk assessments on client business environments to identify their risk profile and provide KPIs that include the identification of gaps in compliance, controls, standardization, information security technology, and tools. Analyzed risks and present actionable threat intelligence reports to business leaders on the threat vectors, threat actors, vulnerabilities, and exploits to clients across all industry verticals. Conducted vulnerability assessments using Tenable.io platform and assist organizations in understanding the results to implement solutions to better secure their environment.
