I was tapped to fill this new role to introduce an all-encompassing strategy for sustainability spanning approx. 13K colleagues, 30 manufacturing sites, and 45 markets, managing a multimillion-dollar budget. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS: ► Launched the global sustainability strategy, positioning the company as the first standalone animal health firm to disclose ESG metrics per SASB and TCFD reporting frameworks, achieving recognized sector leadership in ESG performance. ► Set the first long-term climate and sustainability goals and secured executive leadership buy-in. Developed and aligned an operating plan and secured funding to achieve goals. ► Established the company’s first enterprise-wide charitable endeavor, launching the Zoetis Foundation with a commitment of $35M in grants over five years, to support veterinarians and farmers worldwide through education, wellness, and livelihood program initiatives

I was appointed to lead a global team across the US and Asia, in developing a corporate sustainability strategy to minimize risk and enhance investor value. The initiative encompassed eight brands and headquarters, 4,600 stores, and global supply chain operations. Additionally, I created and managed a multimillion-dollar budget. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS: ► Launched the Responsibility Center of Excellence, the company’s first enterprise-wide corporate sustainability strategy, amidst a period of substantial growth, expansion, and integration following a brand acquisition. ► Counseled board directors/leadership on corporate sustainability, boosting the company’s standing with key rating agencies. ► Defined and integrated impactful long-term sustainability goals and KPIs into enterprise strategies, including DEI objectives, resulting in the launch of the first go-to-market strategy for a new purpose-driven brand. ► Achieved unprecedented customer and associate engagement levels, resulting in record-breaking customer donations, by driving strategic signature partnerships with impactful nonprofit organizations.

In this role, I was accountable for leading the global corporate social responsibility team. Under my leadership, we implemented the comprehensive Responsibly ANN global strategy, inclusive of supply chain programs, to ensure compliance with supplier principles and guidelines. Furthermore, I supervised inspections and resolved issues at contract facilities. In addition to my position responsibilities, I served on the compliance and ethics operating committee with regular reporting to the board. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS: ► Recipient of the ANN INC. Supply Chain Leadership Award for exemplary performance in strategy (2013). ► Pioneered the supplier management office, leading all contract manufacturers' review and approval processes to minimize risk. Led the first human rights compliance program across the global supply chain. ►Developed signature CSR programs including the 100,000 Women Commitment and a groundbreaking five year initiative to empower women in supply chain through health and financial literacy education.

Promoted to lead human rights compliance initiatives and implemented a supply chain code of conduct supplemented by a global monitoring program. I also was at the forefront of leading the global engagement and training process for supply chain management and developed an internal alignment, scorecard, and rating system. In 2004, I was the recipient of ANN INC. Chairman’s Award for exemplary performance and leadership.

Starting as an executive trainee, I progressed through a series of promotions throughout my tenure. In my capacity as the director of business process management, I led executive committee engagement in reviewing and approving new initiatives and strategies to increase corporate profitability and supply chain efficiency. My contributions included the implementation of a project management database, a crucial internal tool that empowered users to capture project detail, including ROI. Furthermore, I was instrumental in launching the company’s first enterprise system implementation, paving the way for the establishment and leadership of a new centralized operations team.
