With over 30 years of experience in IT, development is still my main passion. Yes, I did project management; yes, I did Enterprise Architecture; and yes, I did systems support; but for me, scrum agile development trumps all. At the moment I work as a Solution Architect, helping organisations with their migration to Cloud. My current job comes with the usual challenges like organisational rigidity vs. scrum/agile flexibility, and team autonomy vs. corporate guidelines. For me this is actually the interesting part, because it really takes effort and ingenuity to bring the scrum/agile principles to the enterprise level.
