This enabled it to effectively deploy Canada’s first fully-digitized Brigade HQ and Battle Group. • Awarded an Army Commander’s commendation for the strategic impact of the work done in the digitization of the brigade and for what eventually became the Army’s digitization.

IT Advisor - Future Army IT Systems Requirements

• Developed the initial longer term requirements for the Canadian Army Life extension near and long term IT Systems. As such, played a key role in the acquisition of the high bandwidth tactical data radios and the acquisition of our tactical Air/Ground/Air radio replacement projects. • Key member of the TACOMS Multinational project that developed interoperability standards for NATO. Was a key player that identified the shortcomings of the consortium in meeting the contractual deliverables and drafted a contingency plan to mitigate project extension. • Played a vital role in developing the prototyping and testing community for the TACOMS standards; an approach widely used by other similar multi-national initiatives.

Tactical Command, Control, Communications System – National Fielding Center/Deputy Fielding Officer
