During my time at WesTrac I was responsible for the deployment, support and ongoing management of all WesTrac and Caterpillar Technology products across the WesTrac region. This included a team of more than 150 personnel, full P/L accountability and ownership of the WesTrac operational technology strategy. During this time we implemented the largest fleet of automated mining equipment in the world and managed significant revenue, team and scope growth.

Leading Emeco's charge to deliver increased customer value and efficiency through a holistic fleet solution. The shift in today's mining environment means that Miners have to focus on improving efficiencies rather than just focus on direct cost reductions to remain competitive. Emeco aims to support this by: • Developing customised fleet solutions for mine operators to reduce mining $/t over the long term • Conduct operational benchmarking to identify constraints and cost drivers • Develop advanced costing and operational simulation tools to highlight improvement opportunities • Improve Asset Health and Asset Production reporting tools to maximise value to customers Fleet Strategy Manager • Develop overarching fleet management strategies for Emeco’s global fleet • Set life cycle strategies and optimise fleet management practices to improve fleet performance • Develop and lead the implementation of a comprehensive asset and maintenance management strategy for the Emeco business • Develop, evaluate and implement optimised asset management and maintenance plans • Develop procurement and disposal strategies by asset class and type to manage overall fleet size and availability • Actively engage in continuous improvement and innovation activities

I held several roles through-out my career with Rio Tinto: Principal advisor - HME contracts Responsible for managing performance of all open pit contractors Superintendent Maintenance - Critical Production Fleet Responsible for a large operational team (200+) providing maintenance management of the Shovel and Drill fleet, fabrication, tyre management and electrical departments for Open Pit Maintenance. This role was based in Mongolia. Further responsibilities included management of maintenance service contractors, implementation of the maintenance planning/scheduling function and driving best-practice asset management. Superintendent HME Reliability Responsible for leading a team of 15 engineers to provide operational and strategy support to the Rio Tinto Iron Ore business. This included review and development of maintenance strategies and tactics, defect investigation and resolution, machine specification and asset management process implementation. A major achievement in this role included the specification, commercial negotiation and project management of the first Chinese Haul trucks from China into Australia. HME Performance Engineer Responsible for identification of productivity improvements across the Rio Tinto business. Project managed and implemented a Payload Management & body optimisation initiative that added over 100 million tonnes of additional production to the business.

Consulting engineer working with customers such as Caterpillar global mining, Hasting Deering, Westrac and Rio Tinto (Coal, Iron Ore & Copper). I managed and executed field jobs to review Open Pit productivity and develop improvement projects such as Payload Management, load and haul optimisation, material density analysis and payload maximisation (light weight bodies). Completed work internationally at over 20 operations while acting as the Customer Account manager for our major clients.
