Managed a global team of four engineers and established Franklin Electric’s enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) practice while overseeing 23 remote data centers and 600+ servers across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. Led a global infrastructure transformation, consolidating 23 data centers into 6 regional hubs—achieving $3.7M in savings per 5-year cycle and improving scalability, security, and resiliency. Directed the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of global server and IAM environments, ensuring standardized architecture and compliance with corporate and regulatory policies. Oversaw project planning, vendor selection, and budget management for major infrastructure initiatives, maintaining delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. Support, design, and secure 23 remote datacenters including over 600 servers throughout North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Project Management leveraging internal processes which include Cost Analyses, Vendor Evaluation, Scope/Architectural/Implementation Design all while ensuring the project stays on budget and on time. Prepare, manage and present an annual view of current state of the Server environment. This Portfolio Management includes building of current environmental heat maps used to develop a 5 year Server roadmap including forecasted costs and benefits. Participate in Team Building and Training activities to ensure cross team and inner team development with goal of coaching fellow team members.

Maintain and support enterprise Directory Services including Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Certificate Services and CyberArk Enterprise Password Vault Manage and monitor Navistar’s outsource agreement with IBM and OST for servers, storage and backups to ensure proper support for the environment. Assist in coming to Root Cause Analysis and problem solving for high severity incidents. Managed and Technical Lead project to shut down and consolidate primary Engineering Data Center to the Enterprise Data Center to facilitate facility shut down. Assist in Enterprise Policies creation, Enterprise Operation Budgeting and Resource planning. Architect and implement solutions to support business acquisitions and sales to support IT needs. Participate as an active member of Navistar’s Security COE group providing best practice, policy generation, security scanning and enforcement and Enterprise security incident response.

Plan, Design, Configure and Implement ITT’s server patching and monitoring solution for both ITT Exelis and ITT Corp. using Microsoft SCCM and SCOM. Assisted in planning and execution of splitting the Data Center for the three new companies. Designed new patching procedures and methods for merging the two value centers at ITT Exelis Worked internally with the assistance of Microsoft to create an ITT Exelis Windows Functional Specification/Service Architecture. Designed and implemented an automated strategy for server build and configuration using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit to implement ITT Exelis’s Windows Functional Specifications.

Configure and automate the creation of Navistar’s Standard Desktop Windows 7 desktop image. Develop and test out the corporate Active Directory Group Policies for desktop users. Maintain and create installation packages to silently install applications to end users computers. Assist in the testing, standardization, and implementation of new desktop technologies i.e. iPads setup and deployment procedures to executives, Manage Print Solution and PST archival system.

Maintain and operate Active Directory 2003 Domain Controllers and Forest. Install and maintain approximately 925 physical/virtual Windows 2000/2003/2008 Servers. In charge of maintaining firmware and Windows security patches across all servers. Responsible for performing and enforcing quarterly SOX/ITAR Server security audits. Design and implement infrastructure solutions for the Navistar environment. Programming of team web applications, scripts, and custom applications using C# and VBS Lead cross training sessions with team to educate and train on MCITP certifications.

Work with a team of techs to build up and deploy new systems and to diagnose and assess computer issues for users throughout plant. Properly document each problem and solution in a managed ticket system. Developed new loaner laptop procedures through the creation of an ASP database website.

Managed multiple employees to make sure they stayed on task Worked with business clients daily to provide them with IT solutions to meet there needs. Setup and maintained company’s and client’s Windows 2003 active directory domains, exchange, QuickBooks, IIS Servers, and Cisco Networking equipment. Developed and maintained company and client internet sites in both standard and ASP coding. Helped in the implementation and development of the company’s new non-line of site wireless internet system, spam filtering, web content management, and email systems.
