Oversee CAD operations, including establishing drafting standards and styles, hardware and software evaluation and maintenance, data maintenance and integrity, CAD procedures, and training. Advise management on program implementation, equipment needs, and evolving technological and support strategies. Provide technical expertise, information, and assistance to departmental divisions and other departments; confer with staff, managers, and others to provide recommendations and coordinate activities related to engineering and design support. Handles safety training coordination and documentation for multiple departments, day-to-day office operations including supplies and inventory, print shop operation of MFC devices, wide format plotters, binding equipment and supplies, general IT support, software training for over a dozen software products including all CAD software, ProjectWise administration, and coordination with sub-consultants for on-going projects. Regularly involved in preparation of presentation graphics and proposal graphics for multi-million dollar projects.
