​From award winning documentarian to award winning creative director in advertising to commercial film director and filmmaker, to web series/content creator, my career spans a broad spectrum of disciplines. I now find myself seredipitously shooting portraits which I absolutely love! It came about when someone who saw one of my dog photos, said, "I love your lighting. Could you do my portrait?". I said sure. And so began my foray into portraiture. It combines my directorial experience directing talent with lighting and technical experience. As with any good portraiture, I aim to capture a moment not just a photo while adding my artistic vision to it. I also aim to give people a photo that makes them feel good. That's the true pleasure. My other passion is shooting food. My culinary fascination began in college when Middle Eastern and Asian friends introduced me to spices...my mother used only salt, pepper and paprika! The kitchen became this magical place in which to explore, create and give pleasure. To make food that not only tastes gorgeous but looks gorgeous. We all know that we eat with our eyes first and I love creating and capturing that aspect. My other skills include editing, graphics and creative conceptualizing. ​
