Jazmin Mateo Cielo

I am responsible for designing and implementing business development strategies, as well as driving Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives. I lead the management of corporate events and sponsorships, serve as CMS’s Brand Champion in Peru, and oversee content creation for internal and external communications. In addition, I coordinate media relations and support the positioning of our lawyers, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with the firm’s commercial objectives. My role combines planning and execution, from developing proposals and business plans for new services to organising client events, launching ESG initiatives and delivering internal engagement campaigns.

I lead WIP Peru’s digital communications to amplify its purpose: advancing women’s equity in the legal profession. I manage content, community engagement and the promotion of initiatives, ensuring a consistent tone of voice, coherent messaging and organic growth across social channels.

I help lawyers and independent professionals build strong and consistent brands. My work combines design, strategy, and purpose to enhance their digital visibility and connect with their audiences. Recent projects include web design and branding for Dante Legal and Licy Benzaquen Abogados.

As a director at La Diablada Films, I led audiovisual projects from creative concept through to execution and delivery. I served as Director and Producer of the Quarantine Film Festival, developed entirely under the production company. I also directed the short film “Tres”, which was selected and screened at the Ministry of Culture’s auditoriums as part of the Peruvian Film Festival Made by Women, and was selected for the 25th Mostra de Cinema Llatinoamericà de Catalunya (Spain). In addition, I won first place at the 48 Hour Film Project Peru 2019 with the short film “Burundanga”, receiving awards for Best Directing, Best Screenplay and Best Editing, and representing Peru at the final gala in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Training in storytelling, audiovisual production and digital content, with a focus on multi-platform projects. Graduated in the top 10% of the cohort.

Training in the design of political communication strategies and models, applied to institutional and electoral contexts, as well as negotiation and crisis management.

Focused on screenplay development, narrative structure, character building and writing for audiovisual formats.
