Jayme Nicolato

Born and raised in Brazil, Jayme holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from PUC-MG, a Masters in Engineering from UNICAMP and an Executive MBA from INSEAD. He has 25 years of experience in the mining and logistics business and prior to joining Ferrous he served many other executive level positions at Vale and CSN. Jayme worked as the Director of Northern Systems and later as the Director of Logistics at Vale, he was the CEO of Transnordestina Logistica, the CEO of Namisa, and the Mining Director of Casa de Pedra during his time at CSN, and he has also been a member of the Board of Directors of MRS Logística, the CEO of Vicenza Mining and a Member of the Board of Petra Energy. Regardless of his position, Jayme has always been known not only for his capacity to build teams with strong conduct values and resiliency, but also for his connection and care for the people surrounding him. Always deeply invested in the community, most of his accomplishments throughout his career came from people oriented and conscious efforts to make each company a better place for everyone to work in and grow both personally and professionally.
