In this role, I lead the planning and execution of LBSA’s quarterly professional development workshops, creating programs that strengthen members’ skills in areas such as Excel, resume and cover letter writing, elevator pitches, and interviewing. I collaborate closely with my team to design sessions that reflect members’ career goals and evolving needs. I also build strategic partnerships by connecting with UCLA Anderson faculty, career-center advisors, and industry professionals through targeted outreach, securing guest speakers who bring real-world insight and elevate the quality and impact of our workshops.

As part of the Corporate Relations team, I support LBSA’s engagement with employers by managing outreach, relationship building, and event execution. I conduct discovery calls with prospective corporate partners to understand their goals and identify opportunities for collaboration. Through consistent communication and strategic email outreach to 20+ companies, I helped increase partnership opportunities. I also coordinate corporate recruiting events to connect members with industry professionals and create meaningful spaces for networking and career development.

In this role, I supported the financial operations and fundraising efforts of the organization by maintaining accurate records of over 100 quarterly transactions, including Venmo logs, member fees, and deposits. I assisted in reconciling spreadsheets, organizing purchase documentation, and ensuring accountability across more than $10K in annual financial activity. I also helped execute multiple fundraising events each quarter, contributing to revenue goals and strengthening member and community engagement.

As Finance Director, I lead the organization’s fundraising strategy and manage a $14,000 annual budget to ensure thoughtful and effective fund allocation. I oversee all financial operations, including tracking and reconciling transactions, maintaining transparent financial records, and supporting executive decision-making. I also organize the organization’s quarterly Financial Literacy Workshops, each attended by 25+ participants, to promote financial empowerment and education within the community. Through these efforts, I help sustain the organization’s programming while strengthening engagement and financial awareness among members.

In this leadership role, I supported multiple offices, including Women’s Leadership, Fundraising, Social, and Campus Culture, by assisting in the planning and execution of their major events and initiatives. I helped organize more than five fundraising events and delivered a featured speech on Financial Autonomy at the Women’s Leadership Conference, strengthening my skills in strategic planning and public speaking. I also coordinated impactful service projects that fostered collaboration, empowered fellow members, and deepened the organization’s engagement with underserved communities across Los Angeles.

In this role, I supported large-scale HR operations by managing the application onboarding process for more than 650 new workers, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and streamlined workflows that improved overall onboarding efficiency by roughly 35%. I administered payroll distributions with strong time management and attention to detail, ensuring all financial transactions were processed accurately and on time. I also upheld federal regulatory standards by verifying I-9 documentation and maintaining precise compliance records, significantly reducing processing errors across departments.

I launched and operated a self-run baking business, driving growth by fulfilling more than 500 orders and building a loyal customer base of over 50 repeat clients. I optimized production by testing and perfecting recipes, improving product consistency, and increasing customer satisfaction and repeat purchases. I also managed daily operations, including inventory, pricing strategy, and customer communication, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service that contributed to a roughly 60% increase in customer retention. This experience strengthened my skills in entrepreneurship, operations management, and client relations.

As a volunteer, I led daily physical and cognitive exercises for a group of 13+ elderly residents, helping improve mobility, stimulate cognitive function, and enhance overall quality of life. I dedicated more than 100 volunteer hours supporting individuals with dementia by organizing structured activity schedules, offering emotional support, and fostering a positive, engaging environment.
