About
I architect products that work in reality, not just theory. For 15+ years, I've bridged customer needs, technical execution, and business goals. Leading hardware development from architecture through production. I design systems with hidden complexity that creates simple user experiences. No manual required. WHAT I DO: Architect product systems across mechanical, electrical, and software Bridge customers, engineering teams, and business leadership Design for intuitive use (complexity hidden in engineering, simplicity at the interface) Lead cross-functional teams to ship products that work at scale Identify friction points and design them out before users encounter them Make clear recommendations based on research while staying open to better ideas RECENT WORK: As CTO of a clean energy startup, I architected energy recovery systems designed to be completely hands-off for EV owners. Won Harvard's Innovation Challenge, filed patents, built working prototypes on bootstrapped funding. Before that: Owned architecture and execution for four product lines. Cut RMA rates 90%, increased duty cycles from 20% to 100%, achieved international certifications. Designed robots, architected backend systems for intuitive operation, led remote teams across three time zones. TECHNICAL RANGE: SolidWorks (10+ years), sheet metal, castings, reverse engineering, 3D scanning/printing | PCB design, power electronics, motor controllers (80V/100A GaN), PLC/automation | C++, firmware, control systems | DFM, fixtures, assembly optimization, safety certifications DESIGN PHILOSOPHY: I architect for how humans actually behave, not how we wish they'd behave. This means investing complexity in engineering to deliver products that feel obvious to use. Get requirements, simplify ruthlessly, deliver something people want to use. WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR: Product architecture or technical leadership roles in e-mobility, robotics, micromobility, clean energy, consumer electronics, places building hardware that solves real problems in the real world. Remote-friendly with occasional travel. Based in Connecticut.

Co-Founder & CTO
Leading technical development of novel clean energy solutions from concept through working prototypes. As founding CTO, I've designed and built multiple deep-tech systems proving viability of new approaches to energy recovery. Key Achievements: - Invented a patent pending technology for transportation energy recovery - Built 4 functional components to test the technology - Designed power electronics prototype for 50vdc to 400vdc traction battery integration - Proved technical feasibility of the technology through rigorous design, testing, and iteration - Delivered deep-tech proof-of-concept in 12 months. Technical Focus: Power electronics, motor control systems, energy storage integration, embedded firmware, novel energy conversion. Currently seeking strategic partnerships and funding to scale proven technology to production.
