▪ Built a fully functional internal tool from the ground up used by the Investment Strategy team to update portfolios using Go, TypeScript, and React, which completely eliminates the need for any engineering time to be used on this crucial task. ▪ Onboarded a new service onto vital modern infrastructure, changing Kubernetes configurations and allowing new connections to other systems. ▪ Designed the tool with Go best practices in mind while seamlessly adapting to shifting audience requirements. ▪ Wrote important detailed documents to maintain excellent code standards and best practices, as well as to help future team members onboard as efficiently as possible.

▪ Refactored JavaScript integration tests to leverage a different testing framework, resulting in a reduction of test flakiness (16.8% to 7%) and improved test runtimes (30 – 70% improvement), making the tests more reliable. ▪ Modernized multiple tests using old utilities and modified some testing utilities to positively affect failure rate.

▪ Ensured that every piece of software and hardware was operating smoothly and fixed errors that popped up. ▪ Talked with companies (DoorDash, Uber, etc.) as well as local governments (city & county) in order to resolve errors, make sure we were continually up-to-date with all major events, and implement necessary procedures. ▪ Handled interactions with displeased customers and remedied various mistakes made during the dining service. ▪ Conducted optional post-meal survey sheets to allow the restaurant to be aware of customer feedback.

▪ Overhauled the old-style menu by designing a more consumer-focused menu that allows customers to have more control of their dishes, contributing to increased sales (+13.4 %) and customer satisfaction. ▪ Designed graphics and flyers to advertise various dishes and notify customers of important news and updates. ▪ Learned how to communicate effectively with others and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner.
