Designed an Android Health data service integrating user data with a Llama 3.2-based pipeline to extract entities, relationships, and trends for a knowledge graph, enabling personalized health insights.

Developed an IoT solution providing precise distance information for golfers, including GPS/LoRa sensor devices, a LoRaWAN network server, a Firebase backend, and smartwatch apps on Android Wear OS (Kotlin) and watchOS (Swift). Conducted pilot operations in collaboration with several golf courses in South Korea.

Led software development for the Samsung Ballie smart home robot (CES 2020), implementing human pose tracking using C++, ROS2, MediaPipe and GStreamer; optimized video stream processing from 2 FPS to 8 FPS through dataset fine-tuning. Developed an Ethernet-based automotive communication protocol for an In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) system using C++, Java and JNI, enabling Android Auto integration and reliable data transfer.

Designed and implemented the Resource-Oriented Architecture (ROA) communication protocol over CoAP, based on Wi-Fi and Ethernet for IoT devices, and integrated into the IoTivity open-source project. Managed deployments and troubleshooting, achieving a 25% improvement in software stability. Developed a low-power Bluetooth/BLE communication protocol between Android smartphones and smartwatch devices, improving connection reliability and reducing power consumption by 20%.

Designed and led the architecture of an interaction framework for the Samsung Smart TV platform using C++, Adobe Flash. Supported third-party SDK integration and enabled distribution of 12 types of strategic content.

Developed CableCARD emulators on the Windows platform which provides direct communication via UART device interface with host (STB, DVR) and the functionality of CableCARDs without physical cards.

Designed a data structure and converted data from various formats (PPT, DOC, XLS, RTF) into an internal standardized format, enhancing compatibility by 95%. This was a key feature of the office suite software commercialized as ‘Techdigm Office’.

Developed GUI applications using GDI, GDI+, Cairo, Direct2D for ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display and Information System) software based on the IHO S-57/IHO S-52 Electronic Navigational Chart (ENC) standard.
