Procurement Quality Control (Electrical & Instrumentation)

Responsible for Contractor Supplied Materials. Review MR for all Inspection level materials as per SAEP-1151 requirements. Review Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) and preparation of Award Recommendation (AR). Review and Verification of material 9COM, item description, Aramco ID # of manufacturer and local vendor. Prepare the IAP (Inspection assignment package) for all inspection level 1 to 4 items Review ITPs submitted by manufacturers prior to submitting to SAIR/SAVID for their review and approval. Arrange and attend PIM (Pre-Inspection meeting). Review 3rd party vendor inspectors CVs as per required inspection item Aramco QM code list with SAP number and SAEP-1151. Prepare and send the notification to SAVID/SAIR as per Sch. Q-Attach-Ill para 3.10.3) Collect and Review all pre-inspection meetings reports (IR) and subsequent vendor inspections reports and send to the company representative within ten (10) days of each shop visit (as per Sch-Q-Ill para 3.22) for their review and approval. Coordinate and follow up with Saudi Aramco PMT & SAIR/SAVID for updated status of all submitted MRs and IAPs. Prepare and submit Weekly fabrication Status reports, two weeks look Ahead schedule and NCR summary to SAPMT and SAVID as per schedule Q attachment-IIl requirements. Review all related engineering standards and procedures related to quality control Procurement such as, Schedule Q attachment -lIl and Schedule G, SAEP-1151, SAESs, SAMSS and project specifications and Scope of work. Prepare and submit Monthly PQI Status reports to SAPMT and SAVID as per Schedule Q attachment-lll Coordination to schedule external contractual audits through a Saudi Aramco approved 3rd Party Agency at completion of 15% & 60% Design, Procurement and Construction Progress.

• Inspection of incoming materials (Dish Ends, Tubes, Pipes, fittings, valves, gaskets, filler materials etc.) as per related recommended drawing, Specs/P. O & standards. • To handle procurement activities of engineering and non-engineering items with respect to quality requirements ensuring either the material is complying with the standard or not. • Verifying the MTR according to the code. • Visual & dimensional inspections of Dish ends, Pipes, Flanges, Fittings etc. • Ensuring the equipment’s and tools used for inspections are calibrated. • Raising an INCR if found any non-conformity during inspection. • Offering the inspection to TPI/ Client etc. • Fit ups checking, visual inspection of welding, Performing Dimensional Check. • Checking material identification of each part of vessel etc. Checking Hydrostatic Test. • Checking Pneumatic test of pads, Checking Water fill Test of storage tanks. • Raising NCR (Non-Conformance Report) if there is out of tolerance or noncompliance of materials. • Review WPSs (Welding Procedure Specifications) & PQRs (Procedure Qualification Records). • Review WPQs (Welder Performance Qualifications), Preparing Weld Matrices and NDE Map. • Ensuring Qualified welders are performing welding on job, in qualified welding position. • Ensuring welding is being done as per approved WPS and PQR. • Preparing ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) or QIP (Quality Inspection Plan / Traveler.

• Reporting to the QA/QC Manager in day to day fabrication progress of work to review contract documents to identify quality requirements. • Inspection of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchanges, Steel Storage tanks, Structural Steels, Welding & Painting. • Ensure the quality system is implemented and maintained, monitor, inspect and report on all mechanical activities to ensure compliance as per contract. • Internal and external Quality Audits management. • Preparation and maintaining of QC documents related to tender / Bid and provide QC related inputs. • Organizing Quality Trainings, Presentations, and Workshops. • Control and the distribution of all the company’s quality documentation & Monitor all quality related activities on the project. • Studying project line list to evaluate the WPS and PQR required to complete the job. • Monitoring and controlling welding consumables. • Checking all the equipment calibration certificate and its validity. • Fit-up and weld visual inspection. • Dimensional inspection of Storage tanks.
