I am responsible for leading the financial and operational strategy of the group’s companies, driving regional expansion and sustainable business growth through comprehensive risk management, financial planning, and the leadership of multidisciplinary teams. I ensure compliance with IFRS standards, efficiency in control processes, and cost optimization. In addition, I strengthen transparency in financial reporting and actively participate in strategic decision-making within the executive committee, securing the organization’s economic sustainability and long-term value creation.

As Regional Finance Manager, I led the comprehensive management of finances across seven countries (Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, and the Dominican Republic), overseeing strategic planning, budgeting, financial forecasting, and profitability analysis to ensure business sustainability and growth. I supervised the execution of accounting, tax, and internal control processes (COSO, SOX), as well as payroll, fixed assets, costs, accounts payable and receivable, accounting, taxation, treasury, and working capital, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. I managed relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions, providing reliable reports to support executive decision-making. Additionally, I coordinated the implementation of ERP systems and commercial platforms, as well as the establishment and structuring of new companies in the region, driving operational efficiencies and process standardization. I led multicultural and multidisciplinary teams across different countries, fostering professional development and regional collaboration. I monitored the financial performance of business units, identified deviations, and applied corrective actions that supported corporate objectives. My management was oriented toward value creation, resource optimization, and financial consolidation with a regional and multinational focus. Key Achievements • Supported the company’s entry into the Caribbean through the incorporation of Bimbo República Dominicana, serving as a strategic gateway to other islands. Mitigated risks related to brand loss and business development by leveraging appropriate tax structures. • Coordinated the definition of the business model—covering financial, legal, customs, and commercial frameworks—for the construction of a production plant in the region.

I served as Regional Financial Reporting Manager, with responsibility across nine countries (Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras, Panama, Nicaragua, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, and El Salvador), ensuring that the accounting and financial information of the companies was reliable, accurate, and timely. I coordinated the issuance of financial reports and the consolidation of the regional financial set, guaranteeing compliance with tax obligations and with supervision and self-assessment control programs. On a quarterly basis, I certified the quality and integrity of control systems applied to transactions impacting the financial statements, contributing to corporate transparency and trust. I also led interactions with controllers and external auditors, achieving timely and unqualified opinions, and ensured strict compliance with corporate policies and international regulations. I promoted the implementation of internal control systems under the COSO methodology and engaged directly with the Board of Directors to support strategic decision-making. My management focused on creating synergies between accounting and financial teams, strengthening regional governance, optimizing processes, and ensuring uniform and standardized execution across the region. Key Achievements • Directed the implementation of the COSO internal control model and subsequently the SOX framework in the Latin Central region. • Led the deployment of Oracle Cloud ERP in eight countries, defining the regional operating model and building multidisciplinary teams. • Oversaw the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in nine countries, mitigating reputational, tax, and financial risks.

I was responsible for ensuring that the company’s accounting and financial information was reliable, accurate, and timely, through the implementation of procedures aligned with both local regulations and corporate standards. I led the design of internal control processes, supporting different areas of the organization in improving their systems and ensuring proper attention to reviews from regulatory and supervisory entities. I effectively managed cash flow and working capital, guaranteeing the timely fulfillment of obligations with suppliers, financial institutions, government agencies, and third parties. I oversaw client portfolio management, cash and finished goods control at sales centers, as well as monitoring investment budgets and administering fixed assets across four industrial plants. I ensured timely payroll payments, proper documentation supporting financial and tax information, and promoted compliance with corporate policies and procedures. My management was focused on strengthening accounting and financial governance, ensuring order, compliance, and operational efficiency. Key Achievements • Implemented IFRS, including sensitivity analysis, adoption planning, and cross-departmental coordination. Documented IFRS policies, standardized financial information, and mitigated operational impacts, achieving an orderly transition aligned with international standards. • Coordinated the design of the financial governance model for the Pacific Region (Colombia, Chile, and Peru), leading the unification of management and strategic positions. This initiative strengthened regional alignment, improved operational efficiency, and consolidated decision-making under a common framework.

Responsable de la contabilidad general de la compañía, liderando el registro y posteo de información proveniente de los distintos módulos y consolidando las integraciones contables. Generé los libros contables conforme a la normatividad vigente, elaboré informes de cierre mensual, así como pronósticos de resultados financieros que respaldaron la gestión directiva. Supervisé la facturación quincenal de pagos a proveedores y elaboré informes mensuales de comisiones, bonificaciones y estadísticas del área, garantizando precisión y oportunidad en la información. A cargo de la supervisión de analistas, brindando seguimiento y retroalimentación para fortalecer su desempeño. Dirigí el control de activos fijos e inventario, asegurando la correcta administración de los recursos de la compañía. Asimismo, supervisé el proceso de nómina, velando por el cumplimiento de las obligaciones laborales y la integridad de los registros. Mi gestión se enfocó en consolidar un sistema contable sólido y confiable, alineado con los estándares corporativos y de control interno. Entre mis logros destacan:  Centralización de procesos y captura de sinergias (CSC, Región Pacífico).  Contribución y mantenimiento a la cultura de rendición de cuentas.

Encargado de la gestión administrativa del personal, incluyendo la elaboración y seguimiento del presupuesto de costo laboral, así como la coordinación del plan laboral corporativo y administración de los procedimientos de servicios al personal. Analicé la compensación y las curvas salariales, gestioné la compensación variable para la fuerza de ventas y controlé los principales indicadores de gestión de la compañía (clima laboral, siniestralidad, productividad, costo laboral, ausentismo), garantizando una visión integral para la toma de decisiones estratégicas. A cargo de la aprobación y control de gastos del área, así como del análisis de convenios con entidades financieras y entes externos, contribuyendo a la optimización de recursos y beneficios para la organización. Lideré la implementación de la norma ISO 9000:2000 en el área y del Modelo de Gestión de Negocio, asegurando la estandarización de procesos y el cumplimiento de los estándares corporativos. Mi gestión estuvo enfocada en fortalecer la eficiencia administrativa, promover la mejora continua y consolidar una cultura de excelencia en la gestión del talento humano. Entre mis logros destacan:  Creación de una cultura de control en la ejecución de gastos versus el presupuesto.  Implementación del seguimiento de análisis de compensación interno y externo.
