Javier Hinojosa

Vice President - Retail Power @ BKV Energy

About

I have more than fifteen years of management experience, with a background in M&A, consulting, supply chain, technology, and operations. In addition to my experience in the energy sector, I have been involved in large-scale transformations in pharma, technology, and consumer products. Currently, I'm responsible for incubating and launching a new business unit for BKV and oversee all aspects for the business; from finance to brand development, from customer service to our go-to-market strategy. Prior to this role, I have spent my time driving strategic projects for the entire company, including M&A integrations, incubating new technology initiatives, and developing internal capabilities in BKV’s workforce. Previously, I also served as the Vice President of Information Technology at BKV, responsible of designing and maintaining company-wide technology environment and automation efforts. I graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Private Equity Finance and Consulting from McCombs School of Business in Austin and hold a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Monterrey Tech. Outside of work, I find ways to enjoy nature's wonders, either by rigging up sails and cruising the Caribbean, or touring the backcountry in the winter. I also find refuge in good literature or tinkering with new ways to automate to my home.
