About

I've spent the last 17 years helping build the EV charging industry. When I joined EVgo in 2010 as one of its earliest employees, public DC fast charging did not exist. Since then, I've worked across nearly every part of the industry. From municipal fleet electrification and early charging networks to commercial development, engineering, procurement, and software. Along the way I've supported projects for organizations like FedEx, Mercedes-Benz, SCE, Penske, EVgo, Tesla, commercial real estate owners, and many more. I've seen what makes projects succeed, and more importantly, why so many fail. One lesson keeps repeating itself:Most EV charging projects don't fail because of the charger. They fail because of decisions made months earlier.- Wrong site.- Wrong utility assumptions.- Wrong business model.- Wrong expectations. That's why I co-founded EVlogic. We built EVlogic to help developers, EPCs, fleets, property owners, and consultants evaluate opportunities faster, collaborate more effectively, and make better infrastructure decisions before significant time and capital are committed. Outside of EVlogic, I regularly write about the future of EV infrastructure, fleet charging, commercial real estate, autonomous vehicles, and the business models shaping transportation. My goal is simple: share practical insights from someone who's spent nearly two decades building projects—not just talking about them. If you're evaluating EV infrastructure, I'd be happy to connect.

I founded EVlogic after 15+ years working in EV infrastructure, leading projects for FedEx, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla, and EVgo. What I saw again and again: • Projects took months and tens of thousands of dollars just to get to a go or no go decision. • Developers cycled through countless revisions, only to cancel many projects before construction. • The industry lacked a tool that combined engineering accuracy with speed and collaboration. With EVlogic, we set out to change that. Our platform allows developers and EPCs to price projects in minutes, iterate layouts in real time, and collaborate with stakeholders in one workflow. Engineered to National electric code with no input from the user. As CEO, I bring deep EV infrastructure experience to product vision and strategy, making sure EVlogic solves the real pain points I’ve lived in the field.

At NRG eVgo, I was instrumental in building the first privately funded DC fast charging network in the U.S. My role involved developing the “Ready for EV” program, which established key partnerships with employers and fleets. I also managed the deployment of charging networks in Texas and California, focusing on solutions for fleet electrification and workplace charging.

We are building the first privately funded Electric Vehicle infrastructure in the country. Our business model does not include any government grants and is designed to ease in the adoption of electric vehicles ("EV"). There are three major hurdles in EV adoption: • Range anxiety • High upfront cost to install home charging stations • Uncertainty of electricity costs Our network will infill and connect the major cities in Texas with DC fast chargers with a goal to never be more than 5 miles from a fast charging station. We also install a home charging stations with no upfront costs for standard installations. Finally, we bundle it together to include all home and network charging and electricity for one fixed monthly rate. To further assist adoption, many companies are interested in providing charging stations at the office, multi-family communities, or retail outlets. My division provides unique solutions in making this investment while leveraging it many times over. This allows for a more strategic use of corporate capital, deployment of charging stations, and includes the use of our DC network providing a complete fueling solution. Additionally, we offer turn-key fleet opportunities, employee experience programs and other creative opportunities to utilize this investment of charging station infrastructure.
