Jassim Al-Marzooqi

Jassim Al Marzooqi joined Emirates Investment Authority in October of 2014, following his graduation from Iowa State University in Economics and Political Science Cum Laude, to pursue a career in the field of investments. Mr. Al Marzooqi worked in various asset classes which included Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure, Hedge Funds, Equities, and Strategic Assets. Mr. Al Marzooqi played a lead role in working with Strategic Assets holdings, taking an active role, to improve their capabilities and guide them through strategy definition and implementation support. Jassim Al Marzooqi was then part of Abu Dhabi Global Market team tasked with the establishment and development of the ADGM Knowledge Hub, aligned with Abu Dhabi’s vision of building a knowledge based economy by focusing on human capital development in the financial sector. Jassim helped establish the ADGM Academy (ADGMA), a pillar of the ADGM Knowledge Hub, in addition to leading the ADGMA Research Centre and the National Employability Agenda, which has contributed to the employment of over 3,000 Emirati Nationals in the private sector. Currently, Jassim works in the Strategy function of ADQ, within the Portfolio People Strategy focused on providing strategic support and value creation towards ADQ’s portfolio companies.
