Hi! I'm Jason, a software engineer and 5th-year student at Case Western Reserve University. A bit about myself: I've been a maker at heart for as long as I can remember. I got into software my freshman year of high school it stuck - I'll be graduating from Case in May 2015 with a double major in Computer Science and Theater (Technical Concentration). My fifth year is due to taking a semester off to work at Facebook, and I'm currently spending it expanding my horizons and taking courses outside of my major while finishing up the courses I need in order to graduate. In my spare time at school, I work at my school's hackerspace, think[box], working on 3D printers and laser cutters, and TA for the Mechanical Manufacturing class, teaching metalworking and 3D modeling. I've accepted a job offer at Google Seattle starting after I graduate, so I am not currently pursuing employment, but I am always happy to grow my network and get to know new people, so feel free to reach out!

I assist students in using our facilities, which include two Epilog laser cutters, Stratasys 3D printers, a ShopBot, vinyl cutter, circuit board router, and metal/wood shops. Additionally, I am the author and maintainer of a suite of scripts which we use for processing invoices, removing repetitive work from business processes, and increasing staff efficiency.
