The North Central Oracle Applications User Group (NCOAUG), a non-profit organization serving the seven state region including Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, was created in 1994 to perform the following functions: * Provide an outlet for communication among users and vendors of the Oracle Applications community or persons interested in pursuing further information about Oracle and its products and services. * Provide an exchange mechanism for information from Oracle Corporation or third parties with supporting products and services to the user community. * Maintain an alliance partnership with OAUG for users in the North Central region. * Adhere to the guidelines and principles of the OAUG * Provide training day events that are low cost to no cost to the attendees As Treasurer, I am responsible for the receipt, maintenance, and disbursement of all funds of the group. The Treasurer may appoint one or more Assistant Treasurers, subject to Board approval, to perform, under the direction of the Treasurer, some of the duties of the Treasurer. The Treasurer will provide periodic, event and annual budgets, and financial reports deemed necessary by the Board of Directors, and will provide the OAUG Coordinator with any reports required to submit to the OAUG, as requested. This includes preparation of the Funding Reimbursement Request Form to be submitted with receipts to OAUG within 60 days after incurring reimbursable expenses.

The Secretary is also the officer responsible for the management and maintenance of membership and sponsor/exhibitor lists, and is responsible for implementing measures to protect the confidentiality of this information. The Secretary will preside over any scheduled meetings in the absence of the Chair.

Mid Market Committee Member
Objective of the committee is to help mid sized business (generally companies with revenues between $10 and $500 million) address their specific mid-market challenges by connecting them, as a group, with important business resources, people and information. Address issues such as: Applying leading-edge information technology; building a brand; and maximizing intellectual property. More specifically we: Provide forums and panel discussions where medium-sized companies can gain knowledge needed to address specific mid-market challenges and Publish information on mid-market challenges, along with corresponding resources and solutions, through a series of events and communications vehicles (e.g. the Chamber web site, the Chamber electronic newsletter). Hold networking events that allow mid-market companies to share information, common experiences and market data with other medium-sized companies.

Consulting Sales Manager
As a Consulting Sales Manager I led business development in the North Central Market for Oracle application professional services. The ERP offerings included: Oracle EBusiness Suite, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, and Siebel. I focused primarily on industries such as wholesale / distribution, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and high technology. I had a set of targeted accounts, within a geographic territory and associated pipeline targets, and a bookings quota for the market by fiscal quarter. I also met key proactive metrics for driving solutions sales and increasing pipeline. It was a senior level sales leadership role, comparable to a seasoned Senior Manager in the big five model. Key to my success in this role was my ability to: o Forge strong working relationships with RM's and ASM's o Co-plan and execute opportunity sales plans with Oracle License Sales and Consulting teams. o Actively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities in accounts. o Network within the industry, market, and accounts to bring new client contacts to the Oracle license and consulting account teams. o Provide high content contributions to joint license and consulting opportunities around Oracle application solution areas identified above. o Communicate effectively at all client levels, including CxO. o Quickly grasp client business and technical requirements and fit consulting solutions around those specific needs. o Manage all phases of the business development cycles to successful close (including proposal development, implementation estimating, scope construction, and client presentations). o Proactively approach the market segment through active leadership in industry and community organizations. o Work well in a matrixed organization. o Understand and demonstrate experience of managing quota attainment. o Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business.
