• Devised product concepts and designed the architectures of IOT-based home management system with initial focus on automatic garage opening system. • IoT based system and RF Based system • Designed H/W and developed associated operating software including firmwares with Texas Instrument & Silicon Labs solutions • Developed the backend IoT solution utilizing Amazon Web Services - AWS IoT and front-end UI / management compatible with Apple iPhone. Device communication was established via registered key, push notification, web-based endpoint via HTTPs. • Worked on patent applications (still work in process) • Funded by Hana Financial Investment, a leading investor in S. Korea • Lead the development of all aspects of MVP solutions of the ShotTrack (ioT-based automatic golf scoring watch) from design, development and implementation. • Developed machine learning based sound categorizing algorithm and model, including various stages starting from ingesting data, processing raw data, building the optimized normalization set, establishing a logistic regression model for portability and repeatability. (The model precision and recall was greater than 98% and 95% respectively) • Streamlined integration with hand-held device (i.e. wrist) from sound collection, communication to Apple device (i.e. Macbook) real-time, data analysis, time-series data storage, processing model and visualization, all stages.
