• Assisted an academic with their research which involved investigating and analysing competition in the Scottish corporate insolvency market.

• Worked with the internal audit team to perform two audits at different Costa Coffee stores • I was responsible for carrying out certain areas of the compliance section within the audit, where I aided in the completion of a comprehensive audit report and corresponding action plan • Other areas that I was involved in was loss prevention, analysis of the internal risk register and mystery shopping

• Responsible for the communication of ACCA's events and opportunities on and off campus • Using my existing networks to raise awareness of the ACCA brand through a variety of promotional campaigns, including social media • Highlight and demonstrate to students the advantages of the ACCA qualification and the impact it can have on your career

• Mainly working within the Financial Reporting team, dealing with the processing of company credit card transactions and expenses for Africa • Updating, editing and posting financial journals on the software package 'QuickBooks' and 'Oracle' • Communicating and working with ACCA employees in Africa to work towards the month end • Planning the monthly budgets for each individual cost centre based on existing accruals, prepayments, expected costs and cash at bank • Creating and presenting ACCA training slides that are currently being used across Africa to help implement standard procedures and to develop an understanding of a cost centre's financial duties
