Jason Cohn

I am an independent still photographer and video/film producer, with over 20 years of photography experience and a decade shooting and producing video. My still photography focuses on editorial, non-profit and corporate photography with an emphasis on industrial photography and photojournalism. I produce, shoot and edit video for non-profit clients with an emphasis on the arts, social advocacy and education. My years as a photojournalist inform my work in both mediums and have given me a skill set that makes me able to adapt to different shooting conditions and to be a problem solver. I love what I do and feel incredibly fortunate to have a wonderful set of steady clients that allow me to express my creativity while fulfilling their creative needs. It's fantastic to be able to make a living in a way that allows me to meet people from all walks of life and to get a glimpse into so many different industries and aspects of life. Although not connected to my professional work, being an elected official in my town has been a great experience of returning something to the world. I encourage everyone reading this to consider spending some time running for local office, or serving your community in another way. It will enrich your life, teach you lessons you never expected, and most importantly, fill a gaping hole in society. This country is only as good as what we put into it and there's a huge need for people to step up in their communities.
