Haozhe(Jason) Zhang

As a Computer Science master's candidate specializing in Cybersecurity at Northeastern University, I am seeking full-time opportunities in the cybersecurity field for 2025. My expertise lies in cloud and data security, with a focus on incident response and threat detection. I bring experience with Azure, AWS, and various network security tools, complemented by programming skills in Rust, Python, Javascript and shell scripting. My professional journey includes two valuable internships. At SiriusXM as an AppSec/Enterprise Security Intern, I optimized EDR data analysis and enhanced security tools for a large engineering team. At AIIA as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern, I developed and fine-tuned a CNN + LSTM model for stock market prediction. Certified in CompTIA Security+ and CCSKv4, I'm continuously expanding my knowledge through additional certifications and projects. My commitment to cybersecurity is evidenced by scholarships from Blackhat 2023 and Cyversity, as well as participation in bootcamps and mentorship programs.
