I formed Omega Stone after spotting a developing gap in the tiling market. Initially I imported natural stone tiles, and sold them to a number of bathroom retailers, contractors and latterly individuals via a retail showroom. The business grew quickly and the retail side flourished, ever expanding I began importing ceramic and porcelain tiles alongside other tiling and bathroom products. I was trading with numerous contractors and due to the failure of some of these operations in the infancy of the current economic crisis, my cash-flow suffered and ultimately I was unable to recover. The business ceased trading in 2012.

Management of approx 14 members of staff and 11 residents per shift, responsibility for administering all medication and overseeing incidents of challenging behaviour as and when they arise. Total autonomy for all residents finance, liaising with other health professionals and ensuring all standards of Health and Safety are met.

I was headhunted to work for (tc) Bathrooms in its infancy to work as an Area Sales Manager covering the North West. After consistently exceeding the targets set for me, I was promoted to the position of Commercial Director. This role gave me responsibility for the internal and external sales of the business, managing teams of internal sales people and regional Sales Managers. I provided support to the Sales Managers out in the field whilst developing and maintaing new areas for the business to move in to. This involved identifying new opportunities on a nationwide scale and creating sustainable, profitable business links.
