My passion is engineering District Energy and Building HVAC Systems. I love the challenge of engineering new and more efficient systems for my clients as well as analyzing and improving their existing systems. I also love working through campus utility master plans, analyzing life cycle costs, and enjoy collaborating with project team members throughout design, construction, and operation. Engineering mechanical systems puts me at the intersection of many different aspects of a project: the project vision, aesthetics, cost (initial and life cycle), comfort, health, the environment, installation, maintenance/service, operation, energy, utility cost, and more. Developing a solution with these project attributes in mind is a challenge that I enjoy and look forward to solving.
