Leading EPCM company and vendor for individual project packages to achieve safety and quality requirement. Practice regular stakeholder engagement for design approvals for ease of operability. Develop User Requirement Specifications and HAZOP reviews for the approval of facility construction. Carry out responsibility as a Performance Qualification Manger during commissioning phase. Process engineer and owner for the operational reliability, troubleshooting and process optimization for 3 distillation columns for organic solvent recovery and effluent treatment plant using photo oxidation and biological treatment technology with a team of 8 process technicians and a supervisor. Provides routine operational troubleshooting solutions, column turnarounds, and fractionation tower structural retrofitting and cost savings initiatives. Managing change controls by working with EHS and Quality department for the implementation of process change and generating updated procedures and P&IDs. Leading and implementation of Photo Oxidation Project for the reduction of phenols and BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand) in treated wastewater. CAPEX project of SGD 3 Million. Performed full HAZID and HAZOP study in Germany, Safety Integrity Level study, due diligence for raw material at supplier’s site, impact assessments. Implemented and developed N2 blanketing project for all solvent storage tanks. CAPEX project of SGD 1 million. Complete HAZOP study, process design, project tie-in scheduling, quality impact assessment, generating procedures and protocols. Initiate and lead process deviation and safety incident investigations among the team of stakeholders by applying the Operational Excellence 6 steps Root Cause Analysis tool. Appointed as a member in the EHS committee and leader of the ZAP (Zero Accident Promotion) program.

Based in Singapore’s Baxter Bioscience manufacturing plant in the commissioning team going through IQ, OQ, PQ, tech run phases and writing of new Standard Operating Protocols. Troubleshooting for initial stage of cycle development processes and improve process recipe. Attended 6 months of process training and supporting of technology transfer to Singapore facility in Thousand Oaks, USA. Baxter Bioscience. Ensure smooth operation of various Monoclonal antibodies purification processes and worked with Cell Culture department for process optimization. Involved in investigations that affects the batch cycle time gained skills about prioritization of chemical and equipment preparation and troubleshooting of processes that were out of specification. Received EHS training and attained Lean & Six Sigma Yellow Belt.

Joined the distillation group and was responsible to monitor one of the Crude Distillation Units in the refinery to ensure that operating conditions are acceptable by applying energy and material balances. Assisted the fractionation specialist in analyzing an abnormal behavior of the over flash flow for a Vacuum Distillation Unit based in Sriracha, Thailand. Performed simulation using PRO/II simulator for the Mobil Isomerisation De-waxer (MIDW) Unit’s distillation column for optimization purposes.
