Technical lead for payload integration activities at Vandenberg Space Launch Complex-4 East. Personally led multiple payload campaigns from spacecraft and fairing hardware arrival through final mate to Falcon 9 launch vehicle. Frequent liaison between customer tech team, SpaceX Mission Management and Executive leadership, for all payload related subsystems in Hawthorne. • Designed and implemented numerous process and safety improvements to Vandenberg payload processing flow. Extensive cleanroom, ESD and AS9100 aerospace hardware experience. Key Projects and Achievements: • 100% successful payload processing of 130 customer spacecraft across 12 launch campaigns • Reconfigured, tested and recertified obsolete Dragon 1 Payload Processing Stand for use on all future Falcon 9 missions (Cost savings to SpaceX of >$250,000 on this project alone) • Standardized and modified all payload processing stands for use with any payload, eliminating severe bottleneck in launch manifest • On site Engineering Support and spacecraft manufacturing improvements on Starlink Production line at SpaceX Redmond Satellite production facility during build of all 60 Launch 1 spacecraft • Authored all procedures for payload processing for first flight of Fairing 2.0 and Iridium 7 campaign • Implemented multiple safety improvements on SLC-4E Payload Processing Stand (aka “Carport”) to speed up payload mate to Falcon 9 while increasing personnel safety • Frequent leadership of complex crane operations and structural proof tests (Flight hardware and GSE) • Excellent communicator and collaborator at all levels from technicians to C-level executives Current Technical Qualifications/Certifications: • SCAPE Certified for Hypergolic Fueling Environments • ELSA Certified at Vandenberg and Cape Canaveral • US DOJ/ATF Cleared Ordnance Handler (License 1FL00852) • Base Access at both Vandenberg and CCAFS • Certified Operator: Forklift, Boom Lift and Scissor Lift Operator

Responsible for design, system architecture and bid & proposal activity for highly customized integrated rigid walled shelter systems. Projects included fully integrated military base camp systems, biological labs, blast and ballistic safe haven shelters, flight simulators, athletic complexes, tactical operations centers and others. Significant executive management, customer, vendor, and production floor interaction, as well as project engineering experience and international travel on numerous projects. Project Engineer, Federated Universal Synchronization Engine (FUSE) - C4-ISR Technologies. Managed AAI engineering development team for US Army tactical video distribution system. Responsibilities included project scheduling, resource assignment, DODAF system architecture documentation, leading weekly Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings with Army program office and multiple commercial and government subcontractors, as well as design and development of packaged MIL-STD 810G compliant system hardware. Responsible for $3-5M engineering project budget per phase during each of four phases of HART/FUSE program. Lead systems engineer for the AAI support of two successful flight tests of system hardware during 2011 and 2012, as well as AAI Project Engineer for the lab system integration and test phase during summer of 2012 at US Army Joint Systems Integration Lab (JSIL), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Spent time in multiple business units of Textron doing a variety of engineering work and developing technical program management and leadership skills. Over the course of the program, I worked in procurement, management, testing, mechanical design, electrical engineering, and systems architecture roles.

• Developed and implemented new data and control system architecture for new Rotor Test Stand. • Demonstrated confidence in leadership decisions requiring action by senior-level managers and department chiefs. • Green Belt Project (XRTS Drivetrain Changeover) – Airbag lift jack/caster system. $23K+ annual savings to Bell. • Wrote system checkout and performance test plans, capital project IOC report, and startup/shutdown procedures. • Responsible for blockhouse rebuild and system integration, from operator interface to rotor drive system control. • Maintained project schedule and $5M budget in MS Project and coordinated multiple vendors, contractors, and Bell personnel on time-critical deadlines.

Environmental and Mechanical test engineer - 2011 Ford F150, Econoline, and Super Duty platform fuel and SCR (urea-injection) systems. • Wrote and conducted test plans for SCR, Diesel, gas, and Flex-Fuel tank systems for Ford, GM, and Chrysler. • Maintained testing schedules in MS Project 2003 and presented regular status reports to internal (Kautex) and external (Bosch, Ford, and GM) management. • Frequent travel to support customer R&D activities, as well as Kautex production/test facility in Windsor, Ontario.

• Worked on the Citation CJ4 program through prototype design, build, and first flight. Primary areas of responsibility include the Power Junction Box design and modification, as well as wire routing and avionics/electrical system installations using CATIA V5-R17.

• Served in the LASP Mission Operations Center (MOC) as a command controller on the spaceflight operations team. Duties included mission planning, radio communication with worldwide ground stations and hands-on commanding of four NASA spacecraft (ICESat, QUIKScat, AIM, and SORCE). • Conducted rehearsal, launch and early-orbit phase (LEOP) spacecraft system checkouts on 24-hour work schedule.
