Since August 2025, Jason Insu Park has served as Senior Advisor at the Embassy of Finland in Seoul. His expertise spans Science, Technology, and Innovation, complemented by extensive experience in partnership development, marketing, business expansion, trade, and investment. He has held key roles at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Samsung Electronics, and the Embassies of Denmark, Norway, and Canada—where he represented Ontario Province and served as a Diplomat at the Canadian Embassy in Seoul. Jason holds degrees in Electrical Engineering for Renewable Electrical Energy from Hanyang University (Korea), RWTH Aachen (Germany), and the University of New South Wales (Australia). He earned his Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Seoul National University, with a dissertation titled “A Study on the Variability of EV Adoption in Modern Cities: Key Influencing Factors.” He authored the publication “Promoting Electric Vehicle Adoption Policies in Developing Countries: Lessons Learned from Developed Countries” in the Transport and Communications Bulletin for Asia and the Pacific, issued by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). Jason also serves as a committee member of the International E-Mobility Expo.
