After ten successful years in the US Army, first as an Infantry Officer and then a Special Forces (Green Beret) Officer, I decided to pivot in my career. Over the course of multiple deployments and fulfilling various roles ranging from Infantry Platoon Leader to a Special Forces Detachment/Troop Commander, I found a passion for making processes more efficient. I enjoyed going to a new and different country, meeting with the leader of the unit we would work with, developing a plan together which addressed our joint goals, and executing the plan resulting in a better more efficient unit. The unique set of challenges, analytical analysis, navigating the human terrain, leading small and large elements to achieve a unified approach to the problem, and successfully implementing a plan are all experiences I bring with me while pursing my MBA at the Kellogg School of Management and as I pivot to a new career with a focus in Strategy and Operations.
