The Environmental Permitting Manager serves as the project’s subject matter expert (SME) responsible for obtaining and maintaining environmental permits for PCAPP in the areas of: Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA); Air Quality; and Water Quality. Responsibilities Include: Supervise team of permitting engineers; Interpret regulations and permit; Interface with management regarding environmental issues; performs liaison functions with off-site stakeholders, government client, and regulatory agencies; Coordinate all permit schedule activities and ensure incorporation into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS); Provide environmental technical support to the Bechtel Pueblo Team Engineering, Plant Operations, Waste Management, Emergency Preparedness, Training and other functional areas on the PCAPP project; Draft environmental permit applications; permit modifications; permit or regulatory driven periodic reports, test plans and reports; Provide general environmental permit management support of Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Clean Air Act (CAA) and other local, state, and federal permits for the project; Review design and operations documents and capture environmentally significant activities and aspects of the design and incorporate in permit language; Support the development and execution of environmental compliance programs and any required report, notification, or submittal to local, state, or federal regulatory agencies.
