-Schedule all imports and exports for air and ocean shipments. Complete all international documents necessary for custom clearance. -Write SOP’s and work instructions for all aspects of the shipping and receiving department. -Manage up to 8 employees in functions of the shipping and receiving department. Hire, fire and conduct performance reviews. -Responsible for leasing and maintenance of all forklifts. Design warehouse layouts for racking configurations to fully utilize all space. Work with vendors to order any equipment pertaining to material movement to reduce labor. -Work with FTL/LTL carriers, freight forwarders and parcel companies to get the most competitive rates at the fastest transit times. -Schedule all inbound and outbound FTL, LTL, air and parcel shipments in the US. -Maintain inventory levels for all shipping and packaging components.

-Estimate translucent wall panel and skylight systems.

-Responsible for shipping, receiving, material handlers, Abbott DTC assembly, Cigna assembly, condition of warehouse racking and maintaining forklifts. -Supervise 35-40 employees, hire/ fire and conduct performance evaluations. -Create and distribute all ISO documents pertaining to my department, updating accordingly to make sure all staff is trained to their job documents. -Work with account managers to get product expedited and to arrange carrier pick up. -Schedule all FTL, LTL and parcel shipments.

-Oversee all adjustments, receiving corrections, conversions and system sync. -Supervise and provide work direction to people in Inventory department. -Actively work with other departments to improve inventory accuracy by identifying root causes. -Conduct product investigations and communicate findings with purchasing to get product disposition.

-Receive inbound loads and post the correctly received material into inventory. -Monitor transfers and scheduled routes throughout the day. -Respond to requests from sales department to get the customer what they need in a reasonable time. -Monitor drivers to make sure they are compliant with DOT regulations.

-Scale housing blueprints from contractors accurately to provide house quotes. -Work with contractors to take care of any problems that may arise during scheduling, production and during the house set date. -Enter orders from contractors to ensure the quickest delivery date. -Cost out houses to get production hours and delivery date.

-Responsible for the sales to distributor contacts for the Midwest. -Enter purchase orders from distributors and schedule ship date. -Provide outside salesmen with product information, order history, and accurate pricing for multi-million dollar jobs. -Respond to calls and correspondence regarding order placement, order status, questions on shipments, and product line.

-Train, schedule, and conduct performance reviews for department employees. -Maximize customer traffic and increase sales through product displays and promotional events. -Set up and monitor deliveries to ensure they arrive correct and in a timely matter. -Complete scheduling and monitor allowed payroll for department. -Monitor all inventory problems and change reorder points when necessary. -Handle all guest complaints to ensure great customer satisfaction.
