Experience

Project Manager
Enstone, England, United Kingdom
Having followed the sport since childhood I was overjoyed to have joined the facilities team here at Alpine Formula One Team in November 2023. Since joining the team I have worked with Directors, Department Heads, and site stakeholders to develop and delivery numerous construction and infrastructure projects across the Enstone site. Whilst - critically - minimising disruption to business-as-usual activities in what is a unique industry.

Senior Project Manager
Oxford, England, United Kingdom
I spent over 8 years at Clarkson Alliance, one the most forward thinking and client orientated construction consultancy's in the UK. Specializing in Health + Leisure, Education, Heritage and Motorsport sectors I delivered successful projects through an integrated project management system, the implementation of collaborative working and BIM; whilst mitigating risk to the client. During this time I developed from a Project Coordinator working for the company during my university "sandwich year" and part-time during my remaining studies, to become the company's Senior Project Manager and lead on project delivery.

Head Stonemason
Heritage Stonemasonry - J. Crozier Builders Ltd.
Bath, United Kingdom
Over the two year period I ran and managed my own stonemasonry company. Working as an individual and in conjunction with self employed contractors for larger projects. I gained invaluable experience working with clients, suppliers, and heritage groups while pricing, scheduling and carrying out conservation and new build work. I relished the opportunity to instigate and manage work, achieving goals and targets while troubleshooting and dealing with the everyday problems of project delivery.

Heritage Stonemason
Worcester Cathedral
Worcester, United Kingdom
My time at Worcester Cathedral was made possible by obtaining a grant from the Traditional Building Skills Bursary Scheme, funded by the National Lottery, for one years work placement. Commencing in August 2009, I achieved my NVQ 3 within six months (Having completed an ACA in the subject previously), and was entered into the inaugural Cathedral Works Fellowship Foundation Degree with funding from the Cathedral and under the patronage of HRH The Prince of Wales. Completing modules on Architectural History, Stone Conservation, Archaeology, Setting Out (of complex geometrical drawings and moulds), Stone Fixing and Project Management. I received lectures from figures in the fore front of these fields at study blocks in some of the most beautiful Cathedral's in the country. Having spent two fantastic years at the Cathedral and completing my foundation degree, my contract was complete. Over the two year period I was involved with a diverse scheme of works from the structural repair of a flying buttress, (Completed without taking the buttress down!) to the renewal of a 13th Century tracery panel. The highlight being the restoration of the Guesten Ruin, which resulted in a runner’s up award at the inaugural Daily Telegraph ‘Angel awards’ - set up by Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and an appearance on the BBC Culture show.

Stonemason and Stone Fixer
J Crozier Builders Ltd
Bath, United Kingdom
Having no desire to pursue the more conventional academic route I joined the family company - a small; yet award winning property developer and design and build contractor. While funding myself through the City of Bath College’s ACA course in Stonemasonry. This gave me a fantastic grounding in the principles of contemporary construction and eventually led to the grant from the Traditional Building Bursary Scheme.
