Collect pressurized gas and crude oil samples in GOM platforms as well as on shore based facilities. Collection methods vary from separator and well head sampling to slick line down hole sampling utilizing Proserve positive displacement tools. Responsible for critical oil based mud contamination calculations along with compositional oil and gas analysis. Analysis are conducted on offshore based drilling rigs utilizing a mobile laboratory equipped with gas chromatographs . Responsible for solo field operations as well as team leader status for larger four man mobile lab crews. Primary work locations include the continental US and GOM. Special work projects required travel to facilities based in North Slope Alaska, Equatorial Guinea Africa, and Suriname South America.
