Employment Practices Solutions, Inc. (EPS) is a human resources consulting organization delivering compliance training and HR solutions to employers. EPS provides employee relations products and services designed to aide employers in preventing, correcting, and defending against employment related claims and to encourage a positive work environment. EPS partners with clients to assist with investigations of employee complaints, live training, one-on-one sensitivity coaching, human resource audits and general HR consultation.

Rotational development role within HR managing the in-house recruiting team. Reduced average time to fill by 15 days focusing on continuous process improvement and the use of metrics/analytics. Managed affirmative action, EEO and OFCCP compliance. Centralized vendor management process and standardized terms and conditions resulting in significant savings to the organization.

Served as in-house legal counsel for human resources and safety departments. Managed employment related litigation and claims including but not limited to EEOC complaints, wrongful termination, employee hotline calls, workers compensation matters, OFCCP audits and unemployment hearings. Provided training to employees and senior management on federal and state employment laws. Developed and interpreted company policies and guidelines including employee handbook and benefits manual, international expatriate guides, equity award plans and agreements, DOT and non-DOT drug & alcohol policies, code of ethics and ERISA plans. Negotiated customer and vendor contracts. Managed legal review and compliance process for several company reductions in force. Served as a member of the company Benefits Committee which had primary fiduciary responsibility for the company's 401(k) plan and oversight of other employee benefit plans.

Served as corporate generalist advising General Counsel and corporate management on a broad range of legal issues. Primary work streams focused on labor and employment matters, litigation management, corporate governance, contract negotiation, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy, insurance and international transactions.
