Management Accountant Responsible for management accounting for the entire projects. Duties include- • Performance review and Analysis with a focus on KPIs. • Variance Analysis and Cost control. • Cost-Benefit Analysis to compare operations, review workforce, and explore alternative methods. • Revenue Forecasting, Billing, and Accruals reporting. • Responsible for submitting payment applications to the client, and liaison with the client until approvals & payments are received. • Ensure the costs are appropriately allocated with respect to Cost centres as per company policies. • Prepare and maintain Cash (fund) flow, and coordinate with AP & AR departments.

Job profile and achievements described as- • Collect, review and discuss Budget proposals from departments, Consolidate the budgets, and assists the department head in final preparation. • Prepare and review Budgets utilization reports for OPEX and CAPEX. • Process AFEs, and OPEX/CAPEX budget transfers. • Variance analysis and Budget control. • Assists the Head of the department in Business planning and financial planning. • Conduct monthly financial performance review meetings along with the head of budgets. • Shared service cost allocations to prepare a comprehensive shared services costs report. • Accruals reporting. Mechel Engineering is an EPC contractor under GSSG holdings, engaged in small to medium-scale MEP projects in Qatar. Responsible for Cost Control -projects, Supervision of Financial Accounts, and Reports. • Project performance review, Variance analysis, and identify gaps • Verify and approve all journal entries and Accounting transactions in ERP. • Overlooking Petty cash management, AP, AR, Deposits, Bank reconciliations, debtor/creditor review etc. • Project Management- Project budget, Cash flow, Revenue billing, and payables in coordination with project Directors/Managers. • Preparation of Projects Estimated Cost at Completion (EAC) using Earned Value Management. • Cost Control, Cost Analysis management, Inventories control. • Assist with month-end and year-end close in collaboration with the central accounting team. • Provide training to technical professionals on Project finance matters. # Achievements: • Developed and run a Cost accounting system with CBS & WB, and Inventory Control-management. • Successfully implemented a Cost Accounting system by defining Work & Cost Breakdown Structures
