Director, Indigenous Engagement @ Government of Alberta

About

My career has run the full range, from driving forklifts and picking up garbage to developing policy and briefing senior elected officials. That path has both shaped how I work and how I lead. I know what public service looks like from the front lines, and that perspective doesn't leave you even when the work does. I was drawn to public service early, not just government, but the broader work of building and improving systems that make people's lives better. That's been the thread through everything I've done throughout my career and continues to interest me to this day. I endeavor to lead with trust. I try to empower the people around me, invest in their growth, and strive to create environments where good work can happen. In my experience, leading with people first is the best way to deliver results and empower those around you.
