jared islas

Jared Islas is a senior at the University of Missouri - Kansas City. He will graduate with a degree in Urban Planning + Design and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems in the spring of 2020. Jared spent the summer in Portland, Oregon researching transportation planning at the Transportation Research and Education Center at Portland State University. There, he worked on projects involving pedestrian crosswalk satisfaction and bike share equity. Prior to that, he worked for the City of Raytown, Missouri as their community development intern. Jared is the treasurer of the UMKC Planning + Design Students student organization.
