Responsible for delivering proficient and clinically-supported presentations to a defined list of approved hospitals. Utilized only approved marketing and educational materials designed for a respective audience in assigned territory and target accounts. Establish and develop relationships with targeted customers with a primary focus on discharge nurses and pharmacies. Additional targets could include ICU physicians, Cath Lab Nurses, CCU physicians → Provide branded and non-branded disease state education to practitioners and their staff → Work in cooperation with vendor selling and account teams to improve transition of care utilizing approved resources → Independently plan and organize activities to ensure regular consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action, dependent upon each customer’s clinical needs → Provide education and lead discussions with HCPs around managing side effects of client’s product

* Working knowledge of life saving measures, valvuloplasties and angioplasties, collecting blood samples and respiratory gases, arranging sterilized instruments, recording hemodynamic and angiographic data, setting up pressure transducers, performing cardiac catheterizations and implanting pacemakers. * Ability to explain medical terminology to patients and guide nursing staff about Cath lab, cardio diagnosis and treatment. * Profound knowledge of general nursing duties, Catheterization Laboratory, treatment care modalities, Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and health care trends * Strong management, critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills. * Setting up patient for peripheral vascular angioplasty and monitor patient during procedure.

* Appropriate delegation and supervision of patient care activities within the healthcare setting. * Effective communicator with other members of the healthcare team to promote a collaborative environment of care. * Coordinates interdisciplinary plan of care based on current evidence based practice. * Documents all nursing care, change in condition, response to therapy, treatments, procedures and referrals on patient record to meet standards. * Demonstrates dependability, reliability and flexibility. * Provides patient, family and/or caregiver education as directed by the plan of care. * Provides service to patients and families with sensitivity and respect for their needs, expectations, age, cultural, and individual needs
