Responsible for proactively identifying and capitalizing on emerging business opportunities, fostering robust internal and external relationships to propel Cosun's expansion into innovative products. Collaborating closely with business groups, adeptly scout, and screen potential opportunities to drive sustained growth for Cosun.

Managing Programs, Projects, and Portfolios, including the cross-functional company portfolio of BASF's Vegetable Seeds Business. In the highly complex global High-Tech program, I am responsible for developing the road map with the program board and implementing this through project and portfolio management. This enables crops and functions to achieve their set goals for a winning High-Tech approach. This is one of the five major strategic programs across BASF's Vegetable Seeds Business.

As Scientist Co-Innovation at BASFs vegetable seeds business, I am responsible for leading multidisciplinary, global programs and projects. I motivate and develop interactions between BASF and external parties (academic and industrial) by boosting BASFs capabilities in the light of innovation through initiating, developing, and leading projects and programs based on chances identified internally together with global trends and opportunities. I leverage my background in biotechnology and activities in the vegetable seed breeding industry to generate impact in making healthy eating enjoyable and sustainable.

Gaining managerial experience through projects across the different departments of the organization during my traineeship. Program composed of: Strategic alliance and partnering - Identifying and cultivating potential partners (both industrial and academic) in the field of agtech, biotech and foodtech. - R&D portfolio assessment of projects and external collaborations, to establish how collaborations can be conducted in a more strategic and pro-active way. Product development Development, roll out and implementation of a digital observation tool. Digitizing the product development community. Simultaneously working on change management and way of working within the product development community. Furthermore, aligning approaches in plant observation between product development and plant breeding. Global crop marketing Long term (10 yr) strategy development, determining further directions and scope for crops; cucumber and lettuce.

On behalf of the Young Democrats I am the head of portfolio (portefeuillehouder) Sustainability, together with Gerwin Beukhof. We focus on issues related to Environment, Energy, Food and Agriculture. The head of portfolio leads the national task force and is responsible for leading the political debate within the party, we write vision documents together with the task force members and we advise the national board on this topic.

Develop and execute biotechnological solutions for vegetable crop resistance, focusing on virus-related projects, including Gemini and Tospovirus.

Application of the adenoviral CRISPR/Cas9 technology for target validation purposes. Downregulation of JAK kinase family members. This internship was part of my master Biotechnology at Wageningen University.

Research on CRISPR gene cpf1 and its possibilities for application for medical use. Gene expression and protein purification and characterization.

Research on acid environments within biological air scrubbers and its influence on nitrifying bacteria. I conducted this research as final part of my bachelor Environmental Sciences at HAS Hogeschool Den Bosch.

On a project basis data analysis, flowcharts and administration of the water treatment plant, department Advice purification of Waterschap Aa en Maas (Regional water authority).

Research on local marine food chains and their relation to the high PCB (poly-chlorin biphyl) pollution in the New Bedford Bay. This internship was part of my bachelor Environmental Sciences at HAS Hogeschool Den Bosch.
