As Clinical Admin Lead, I was tasked with supporting the delivery of patient access and cancer targets for two busy surgical specialties. I was responsible for ensuring that both theatre and outpatient capacity were maximised to ensure that 18 week pathway targets were met and interpret data received through weekly reporting tools to forecast and act upon any capacity shortfalls. I was also responsible for the day to day line management and professional supervision of the administration teams and the data quality within these specialties, ensuring that best practice and adherence to Trust policies and procedures was maintained at all times.
