Head of technical area including Engineering (TE) and Maintenance (TS) with corporate responsibility in Central & South America - CSA provides support for 5 production units in the region. As part of his role is also responsible for site management in Americana including EHS and site services functions.

In the Position of Project Manager in Green Ocean Project, a USD-M 200 investment for Veramaris, joint-venture Evonik and DSM. The unit applies to the production of Omega-3 fat acid from natural marine algae with applications in animal nutrition. The new unit, located in Blair-NE, USA, reached mechanical completion in Q2/2019 and completed start-up in Q3-2019. Responsible for the sub-projects Fermentation and Utilities, joined the team for the Conceptual and Basic Engineering phases, as expat in Hanau-Germany, from Jan/16 to Mar/17. The Detailing Engineering was held in Greenville-SC, USA together with EPCM Contractor Amec Foster Wheeler (actual Wood Group), from Apr/17 to Apr/18. From May/18 to Apr/19 managed construction phase until mechanical completion from Blair-NE. Played key role in definition of strategy, bidding process and contract management for EPCM and Mechanical & Piping contract.

Implemented the Project Boost Brazil from the basic engineering phase until start-up (mechanical completion of first line in Jan/2015). The unit applies to the production of cosmetic ingredients including four lines: Betaines, Esters, Quat DMS and Quat MeCl. The project had the basic engineering developed in Mobile – AL together with Evonik Corporation during 2012 and detailing engineering developed in São Paulo - Brazil at local engineering contractor (Progen) during 2013. The project was built in Americana along 2014 and the start-up of first line occurred in March 2015. The investment reached mid-double digit million Euro.

Active staff member at hydrogen peroxide plant – 70.000 ton/yr capacity, and reporting to the site manager was responsible for the engineering and maintenance team with 14 co-workers. Managed Capex in the range of 0.8 to 1.3 M-EUR/year; maintenance budget of 1.5 M-EUR /year and spare parts inventory of 700.0 T-EUR. Also managed the customer technical support team with responsabilities for designing, erection and maintenance of tank farms and dosing units on customer premises, including support to application tests and operational training.

Reporting to the manufacturing director, worked in the expansion of a corn seed unit of Monsanto - Agroceres in Santa Elena – GO – US$M 3.0 project. Joining the team during construction phase the main goal was to assure start-up time schedule being responsible for field supervision, contracts, cost control and time schedule.

Reporting to country erection manager, leading 15 people, worked to consolidate the engineering team to support installation activities in Brazil. Developing methods, processes, procedures, instructions, tolls and instruments for installation worked to improve efficiency by reducing erection time. Achieved the following results: • Introduction of new technologies: MVF, CVF, LUXOR, NCE e HPLIM; • Introduction of new concept in vibration analysis for ride quality improvement; • Tools standardization and implementation of Tool Facilities Center; • Support to Major Contracts - Birmann 21 & CENU (current fastest elevators in Brazil - 6 m/s); • ISO 9.000 certification.

As Project Engineer coordinated equipment & piping disciplines during detailing phase of the following projects: • CS2 Recovery Unit at Fiocco plant - Lenzing Technology Austria – US$M 5.0; • New Cooling water for Thermoelectric Unit - Tower imported from USA – US$K 500; • Installation of 600TR Chiller at Viscose Utilities - US$K 300; • Cost estimation and specification of 60 ton/h steam boiler- US$M 2.0;

As Process Engineer at polystyrene unit – DC/DI, achieved following results: • Cost estimation for plant expansion - US$M 18.0; • Reduction of Scrap from 6.6 to 4.0 Kg/ton - savings of US$K 110/yr; • Inventory automation getting reduction from 10 to 0.5 hour to emit the monthly report; • Run-plan migration from manual to excel sheet; • Warehouse lay-out optimization enhancing capacity from 1200 to 1650 ton; • Implementation of SPC - statistic process control; As Project Engineer at Construction & Engineering Department implemented the following projects: • DC/DI De-bottlenecking - US$M 1.25; • Re-sizing site utilities distribution headers to accommodate a new plant (Saflex) - US$K 370; • Cooling Tower major repair - US$K 220; • DC/DI Bag Palletizer - US$K 130; • Fire protection systems (Sprinklers & Deluge) for Therminol, Santoprene, Nutrasweet and 4ADPA units; • Optimization of site cooling water distribution system resulting in capex avoidance of US$K 600;
