Oversee staff development and training for the company in Florida and Texas.

Manages the Learning Management System (LMS) for the company. Supports and enforces all policies and procedures of the company. In conjunction with the Director of Performance Evaluation and Training Management and the Assistant Director of Staff Development this position ensures that the site(s) follow all training guidelines and Policies and Procedures of the company, makes sure the company is compliant with all Department of Juvenile Justice guidelines, including establishment of training calendars and records management. Under direction of a supervisor, plans, organizes, supervises and coordinates the employee training program for all employees; does related work as required. Provides classroom instruction on assorted topics both written, verbal and tactical to new and current employees for the company.

Coordination of youth transition planning to include establishing support services for youth based on identified transitional needs. The Transitional Services Manager (TSM) assesses youth for independent living skills needs, facilitates individualized skill plans, maintains records of support services and will communicate on a regular basis with parent/guardian or foster care parent, and JPO both pre and post release with 30 days post release follow up activities. The TSM will ensure community linkages and will follow up with identified transition needs to ensure appointments/meetings are in place, transportation is in place and necessary documentation has been completed for continuity of care.

Oversees the behavior management system of the program and direct care staff on designated unit, ensuring the milieu safety and security issues are addressed and a therapeutic environment is provided. Oversees direct care employees ensuring that effective work relations are maintained. Ensures overall functioning of facility meets all regulatory guidelines.

Responsible to plan and implement case management program relating to everyday living activities, to provide for the emotional, social, and educational advancement of the individual youth, and to ensure the safety and welfare of the residents. Responsible for the overall operation of case management system including training, scheduling, hiring, firing, promoting, demoting and or disciplining of employees.
